Preparing students for access to independent and parochial schools

What? If you are applying to an independent or parochial school in the DC Metropolitan area and need additional assistance with the application forms or financial aid applications, you don't want to miss this event! LSF staff members and admissions representatives from schools around the area will be available to answer questions and work with you in both English and Spanish.
When? Fall of each school year. Check back for the 2012 orientation date!
Where? National Cathedral School, Hearst Hall Cafeteria (3612 Woodley Rd. NW, Washington, DC 20016). Enter at the corner of Wisconsin Ave. NW and Woodley Rd. NW.
How? No RSVP necessary- this event is open to the public & admission is free.

 

The Latino Student Fund is dedicated to empowering Latino families as they explore their children’s PreK-12th grade educational options. We are committed to working with independent and parochial schools throughout the DC Metro area to provide a foundation of knowledge about the application process, financial aid and school program offerings so that families are able to make the most informed decision about how and where to send their children to school.The Access program will address the needs of Latino families interested in Independent & Parochial education with assistance in the following areas:

 The LSF Scholars that we support in independent and parochial schools have a 100% graduation rate from high school and 100% enrollment in institutions of higher education. We seek to offer advice and support to Latino families as they begin the process of enrolling in independent and parochial schools in the area so that they have knowledge and resources to increase their children’s academic options.
